Elegant dwarf chicken with a lively temperament. Maintain good aptitude for deposition and uniform coloring of the plumage. Similar in characteristics to the large breed of the same name.
III - STANDARD
General appearance and characteristics of the breed
Trunk: Stretched and elegant.
Head: Medium sized, wide.
Beak: Medium long, strong.
Eyes: Lively, round.
Crest: Simple, red, medium size, from four to six teeth, of fine texture, with the lobe that does not follow the line of the nape. In the hen the rear part is carried folded but without covering the eye.
Bargigli: Medium sized, fine texture, well rounded.
Face: Dark red, with fine black hair.
Mumps: Medium size, oval, smooth, white.
Neck: Long enough, with long cape.
Shoulders: Wide and well rounded.
Back: Wide and long, carried inclined towards the rump, less in the hen than in the rooster.
Wings: Carried high and close to the body.
Tail: Wide, long, with well arched and slightly open sickles, medium high capacity.
Chest: Full, well rounded, raised to medium height, prominent in the cock.
Legs: Long legs, slender and well evident; tarsi of medium length, thin, with fine scales, four fingers, without feathers.
Belly: Well developed and rounded.
